In this privacy policy we explain what data we collect when you visit our webshop or physical store, why we do so, and what rights you have.

This privacy policy applies to all services of Bargello Eindhoven, both through the webshop and in the physical store.

2. What personal data do we process?

We process the following personal data, depending on how you interact with us:

• First and last name
• Address details (delivery and billing address)
• Email address
• Phone number
• Payment details (processed via our payment provider Stripe; we do not store credit card or bank details ourselves)
• Order history and order details
• IP address and browsing behaviour on our website (via cookies and tracking technologies)
• Information you voluntarily provide when signing up for our newsletter

Because we only process guest orders, we do not create customer accounts and we do not store login details.

Our webshop uses cookies and similar technologies from the following parties:

• Google Analytics – to analyse how visitors use our website, so that we can improve it.
• Meta/Facebook Pixel – to measure the effectiveness of our advertisements on Facebook and Instagram and to show relevant advertisements.
• Google Ads – to measure the effectiveness of our search engine advertisements and to show relevant advertisements.
• Klaviyo – for sending and measuring our email newsletter.

These parties may process data outside the EU (for example, in the United States). Where this is the case, we ensure that this transfer takes place on the basis of appropriate safeguards, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

You can adjust your cookie preferences at any time via the cookie banner on our website or via your browser settings. Please note: if you decline tracking cookies, certain parts of the website may work less well and you may see less relevant advertisements.

5. Sharing data with third parties

We only share your data with third parties to the extent necessary for the performance of our services, or to comply with a legal obligation. This includes:

• Stripe (payment processing)
• PostNL (delivery of orders)
• Klaviyo (sending newsletters)
• Google (Analytics and Ads) and Meta (Facebook/Instagram Pixel) – for analysis and marketing purposes
• Government authorities, where we are legally required to do so (for example, the Dutch Tax Authorities)

We have (where required) entered into a data processing agreement with all parties acting as processors. We never sell your data to third parties.

6. Retention period

We do not retain your personal data for longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected:

• Order and invoice data: 7 years, in connection with the statutory tax retention obligation.
• Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe from the newsletter.
• Analytics and tracking data: in accordance with the standard settings of the relevant service (usually 14–26 months), or until you withdraw your consent.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss or unlawful processing, including a secure (SSL/TLS-encrypted) connection on our webshop and outsourcing payment processing to a certified party (Stripe).

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights:
